Zavak mine is located on the 44th east of Mashhad-Tehran highway and 8 km west of Davarzan city and the northern side of Kahak village in Khorasan Razavi province. The nearest villages to the mine are called Kahk and Foroumad.

Zavak mine has the main mineral copper and the occurrence of scattered samples1 of other metal minerals like Manganese can be seen in it. In different parts of Zavak mine, there are intense (old) copper mines and smelting furnaces.

Copper ores in Zavak mine and in order of abundance mainly include Malachite, Chalcocite, Chrysocolla, Azurite, Bornite, and Covellite so with very high quality copper ore, we are ready to cooperate with investors, factories and owners of relevant industries.

Zavak mine is currently on the agenda of an operational research project in the field of copper processing with the participation of Hakim Sabzevari University, Vice President for Science and Technology and the Elite Association of Iran, and in the near future the results will be provided to the country’s technology industry.
